Beginning of the journey

Our hero’s political career began in 1985. After that, he was elected to Wilmington City Council. In this body, Theodore was able to fulfill his duties as a member of the Finance Committee. The year 2000 was significant for our hero since he was elected as the leader of the aforementioned City Council. At the same time, he was the chairman of the Cablevision Commission.

In 2008, Blunt declared his intention to run for lieutenant governor. However, he later chose to call off the campaign. 

According to him, the reason behind this was the necessity to unite the party. The politician also mentioned that this choice was made because of the significant expenses of running an electoral campaign. Most significantly, he stated that he wanted to spend more time with his family, and the post of lieutenant governor requires an excessive amount of attention.

Favorite hobby
